Flashback Friday: Special Guest

Happy Friday! Our Mummy and Daddy are in Melbourne, which is Daddy's hometown, so today we'd like to introduce Angel Alex!

Alex (1991-2005) was Cat Daddy's special burmese boy. There were other Kitties Who Came Before but Alex was there all through Daddy's childhood and into his adult life. Alex was also the first kitty that Mummy met, when our parents started dating in 2004! She got to know him quite well even though she had been entirely a 'dog person' up until then. You could say that Alex did all the work of converting our Mummy! He just whispered to us that it was easy to convert our Mummy because she is a great lover of all animals. Purrr!

Alex is our guardian angel. He was in an accident with a car when he was just a baby so his head was reconstructed. The vet must have done a furry good job because he lived to 14 years old! Alex was a sweet natured, intelligent kitty and we know that he welcomes all new kitties who come to the Rainbow Bridge with open paws!

Here he is, pictured with his woofie sister Suzy. Suzy is 15 years old now!

Angel Alex, we love you and think about you every day! We hope you're happy where you are. Please keep watching over our furrever family!

Love and purrs!

  15. Thankyou for telling us about Alex. He was a very handsome mancat. Our daddy had Burmese kitties when he was a boy as well. And when he and mum first started dating, mum used to swear that she was a dog person! Needless to say, he changed her mind :)
