Our mummy is a huge RSPCA supporter and would love a chance to donate back to this fabulous organisation that helped to bring Keiko, Kenji and Pricilla into her life. Pricilla goes to the vet (again)

My mum wrote on her blog the other day about how we went to a bad vet last week. We didn’t have to meow loudly to tell her we don’t want to go back there again… both our parents were furious!

I had to go back to the vet yesterday as it seems I have over-licked my bottom… nothing major, but my mum wanted to make sure it would heal up properly so she said she was going to take me to meet a new vet friend she made!

I was very dignified as I allowed myself to be placed in my carrier and wisked off to meet the new vet – luckily only a short drive! I actually quite enjoyed this visit. The vet was Japanese like our mum and she was very gentle and patted me lots and lots. The nurse lady was also very friendly and gentle! I was purring and lay down on the table. I think my parents were also very impressed with the care I received.

I was given 2 shots – one for anti-inflammatory (metacam) and one antibiotic (convenia), and a collar to stop me licking. I’m happy that it should also help clear up my annoying conjunctivitis!

At first, I was walking into a lot of the furniture and walls, which didn’t make any sense to me as I normally don’t do that, but I suppose my balance was off. I’m quite used to my collar now and today I snuggled up to my mum while she napped. She was a little surprised to see my big collared face right in her face, but she patted me and let me sleep next to her.

I’m going back to the vet in a week to have everything checked out again. Paws crossed I can get my collar off!

It’s Thursday night already, I’m going to warm up my mum’s spot of the bed now!

It’s Keiko! Mummy wants to say thank you all for your concern. She’s feeling 100% again!

I was watching Pricilla play the other day and we noticed that she doesn’t move her back legs! She must have really strong abs!

We think Miss Pricilla has such nice long legs!

From the back, her legs are realllllly fluffy. haha!

 

This is where we often find Kenji, he’s hiding behind the curtain watching the garden. He really wants to be outside, but he only gets to go out with the harness on!

He also stalks me from there and comes chasing after me!

Yoghurt time!

It’s Kenji here! It’s the first time I got to post something all by myself! Mummy’s resting today because she has been really sick over the weekend with a bad cold! She stayed in bed all day yesterday and today. So I went and snuggled up to her as much as I could! Pricilla and I took turns watching over our mummy next to her on the bed!

Here are some photos from when I tried yoghurt and discovered that I really like it!!

I’m being a good guard for my mummy. I can see outside from that little window and I spy lots of neighbourhood humans and dogs, and sometimes kitties go past.

I’m going to go snuggle up to Mummy a bit more!

Playful Kenji - Video

Hi! It’s rainy and cold here today in Adelaide… Mummy was supposed to take me for a walk and everything, but I don’t want to go anymore. hehe!

Here is a video mummy took of Kenji playing with his favourite fluffy toy. He can be wild, and actually he was chasing me before this video was taken!

You can probably see the title says “Part 2” – if you’d like to see Part 1, please click here! In that one you can actually see Kenji spying me and jumping off his tower to come chase me! Not good!

 

Our sister Pricilla likes to snuggle up on our parents’ bed, and she’s warming up mummy’s spot!

Pricilla loves it and mummy loves it! They are nap buddies.

 

Update on Prince: Prince is home and is on the mend. His leg is getting better and he’s walking better than before, and he will have his wire taken out in a few weeks! Thank you for your continued purrs and prayers!

Keiko loves Temptations - Video

It’s Keiko! Mummy said I can use the internet today even though she used it up for this month and it’s very slow… That’s why she hasn’t let me blog for a few days!

I have a really cool video of when my mummy gave me some Temptations. I only discovered them the other day and… Oh they’re so delicious! I love them soo much, I forgot all about my table manners!

 

Mummy says Kenji has chicken leg in this photo, because he usually sits with his leg tucked underneath but he has it sticking out and it looks like a big chicken leg!

Haha! He’s funny.

Please pray for Prince

We are sad today to report that a friend of ours was seriously injured in an accident.

Our mummy’s friend Chantall’s kitty, Prince, was seriously injured in a hit-and-run on the 14th of April 2010. Chantall’s husband witnessed the accident… Badly injured, Prince received emergency surgery to have a wire put into his broken jaw; he also has nerve damage to his front leg and can’t walk properly.

Today Prince has had to go back to the vet as he hasn’t been doing very well and not eating.

Mummy said she has heard of accidents like this a lot recently. Someone else she knows recently lost her 12-year-old kitty to a deliberate hit-and-run, driving up on the curb at the poor kitty. Mummy says some humans are just awful.

Even though Prince has got away with his life, he’s still not out of the woods. We are very worried about him and have been praying every day!

We’re wishing a quick, full recovery for Prince and hope that you can join us in praying for him and his family!

Walk debut!

It’s Pricilla here! Heehee I snuck on the computer while Keiko is having a nap!

We had the most exciting day – our parents took us out for a walk! They think we used to be outdoor cats before we came to live with them, so they got us special leashes!

We left Keiko at home, mwahaha! (cos she’s definitely an indoor cat! She gets scared outside!)

 

This is our daddy! He came home from work early today :))

We lurrrved being out in the fresh air, and the grass in the park opposite our house had just been mowed! Yum!

I loved rolling around on the grass and looking under all the shrubs in the little creek next to the park :)

He’s so cheeky, he kept checking mummy to see if she was watching and when she looked away he would go under a car, up someone else’s driveway or under a shrub – what a paw-ful!
