Tuesday with Tortitude: I have BLANKIE!

Purr! It's Pricilla! I am so proud today to be showing off my special blankie Mummy knitted for me!

It has taken so many weeks, but I am happy now. Thanks Mummy!

It is made of Chunky Yarn.

This picture was when Mummy put the blankie on the couch for the first time! So I haven't noticed it yet.

Ooh – this feels nice under my paws!

I like it muchly!

Mummy says she is happy I like it, because she is a Beginner and it took her forever to work out how to do the squares!

I'm not sharing this with anycat! Keiko has her pink blankie in her basket now, but Mummy should knit some for Kenji and Yuji soon. Get to work! mawhawhaw!

 

We are purring for our Aussie furriend Momo for a speedy recovery after her accident. We're sending you lots of hugs and prayers!

We are also purring today for Neala who is having an operation to fix a birth defect. Lots of hugs and cuddles, baby Neala!

Mancat Monday: Closeup Yuji!

Happy Monday! Mummy and Daddy are away this week, but I have these photos to show you!

I was sitting on Kenji's tower – it's so comfy, no wonder he loves it so much! (I sleep on there as well)

We had a request from Daisy for a closeup of my beauty spot! Mummy says I don't keep still, but she managed to take these pics! Mawhawhaw!

Mummy says my nose is dirty (see the brown bits…?) But she ran out of time to give me a shower!

I'm scared now because you all said I have to hide…

Yuji discovers NIP!

It's Yuji here! It's my first time blogging. Keiko showed me how to do it!

It's a week since I came to live with my new Family. I have been settling in really well! Keiko and I have been playing so many games together. She says that I play nicer than Kenji! purrr

Of course, I love running around with my brother Kenji, too. Mummy says that we are good together!

Mummy says that I eat so fast and inhale my food instead of chewing calmly. She says that is very 'stray' of me! I've been watching my sisters and brother and they eat so SLOWly. mawhawhaw!

I have discovered so many fun things in my new home. This is me playing with this thing called Cat Nip! I can't believe I never knew it before. I love it!

  

I also made up this cool dance move! It's called 'Nip Paddle'!

                

Here are my toesies. Mummy says I'm still dirty, so I have to have a shower!

What is a shower, I wonder? Is it fun, too?

Love on Saturday

Happy Weekend! Thank you for all your purrs and purrayers yesterday! I am happy and well again!! Yay!

Mummy says that I was stressed because of Yuji. I didn't get to play with my favourite Snakey much – usually, Mummy drapes it over the extra scratching post, and I love playing with it in the night when everyone is sleeping – but since Yuji came, he has been using the scratching post so the Snakey is no longer on there! I was not happy.

Last night, Mummy spent ages playing with Snakey and me, then I slept allll night in Mummy and Daddy's bed!

Mummy was so excited to hear my happy special meows today again! Meow!

Here I am posing with my 'heart' Mummy knitted. It has catnip inside! I'm still waiting on the blankie she has knitted for me, it used to be a 9 square design (I think she mentioned it once or twice) but she unravelled it to make it all in one! It is almost ready to go. Hurry up, Mummy!

Yuji is also playing with it, and he is having a nip party on his own.

Keiko instead was practicing to be the Whiskas mascot… The packets you see in the background are all the samplers we have collected!

Fun Friday: How many kitties does it take to catch a cricket?

  Happy Friday!

We found a cricket inside our house yesterday. Keiko was the first to find it!

She was playing with it for a while

Pricilla is feeling a bit sick this morning… We think she's stressed :(  Mummy has been looking after her and she jumped out of bed twice in the middle of the night because the poor thing was vomiting! Pricilla felt loved that Mummy came straight away, even though it was like 2am and 5am. Mummy says it's Feliway time for Pricila!

Pricilla might have to go and see Erina, out special vet furriend! Erina's also staying at our place to look after us while Mummy and Daddy go to Melbourne next week. Yay!

Mummy is not too worried as Pricilla is still happy to eat and eat. Look at all of us, feasting on Whiskas Oh So Meaty this morning! We received samplers from the company when we entered that Whiskas comp, plus Yuji got heaps when he was leaving the shelter! Mmmmm it is yum!

Pricilla is snoozing at the moment… Feel better soon!
